Easy Fix For Garbage Disposal
If you have an old Insinkerator disposal that has the rubber baffle getting all rotted out, this is just the thing to fix it easy. Of course you can buy a new rubber gasket with the baffle molded in place. But then you have to disconnect the plumbing and unmount the disposal from the bottom of the sink. This baffle is designed to just snap in place with no tools. Simply use a sharp knife to completely cut away the old baffle (the part that does the gasket job remains in place - it is just the baffle "ears" that get cut away). Then push this new one down into the opening and it snaps in place. It has a groove around the perimeter to fit over a metal lip and the remains of the old baffle. The top edge of this new baffle is tapered to fit tightly against the side of the stainless steel throat of the disposal. I was afraid that this new baffle, being only snapped in place, might tend to dislodge. No such problems. It has been in place for several weeks now and no sign of any...

Worth the dollars.
I started with a cheaper rubber replacement that fit but flexed so much it kept falling through. Not this one! So spend a couple bucks more and get it.
